“I’m very proud to be a supporter of the Colorado 4-H organization,” said Gardner in a Facebook message. “My younger siblings are in the Baca County Homestead Pioneers 4-H club and I buy tickets from them every year. Thank you and looking forward to my upcoming road trips!”

Colorado state 4-H President Kristine Hoffner of Saguache County drew the winning ticket and the announcement was made before thousands of spectators at the Ag Day with 4-H football game on September 22. The names of eleven cash prize winners totaling more than $5,000 were also drawn. This year’s winners hail from across the state, from Eagle to Palisade and Sterling to Sedalia.

For approximately six months, the truck toured the state, visiting county events across the diverse regions of Colorado. During each stop, local 4-H members sold raffle tickets for a chance to win the 2018 F-150 4×4 Super Crew truck valued at more than $51,000.

Now in its 11th year, the Raffle Truck Program is the Colorado 4-H Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser, helping support 4-H clubs, travel opportunities, scholarships and more. Ford’s truck donations to the Foundation for more than a decade have added up to more than $500,000 in support for 4-H in Colorado.
